A number of players and coaches from the Weyburn Lacrosse Association were part of the provincial lacrosse championships, held over the weekend in Regina, and they brought home medals as members of the Southeast Stealth teams.
The U14 Stealth team won silver, and included coaches Mic Samenook, Charles Hignett and Dave Knipfel.
The U14 players included Nash Hignett, Rider Hignett, Sawyer Leko, Gave Knipfel, Jack Missal, Vann Dennis, Brody Morrice, Spencer Bell, and Hunter Willoughby.
On the 12U Stealth, which won the gold medal, Weyburn players included Alex Labrecque, Leo Missal and Chayse Willoughby.
