Been keeping busy at the library here in town these last few days, and likely for many days to come, trying to get things cleaned up as much changing will be happening as time goes by. We will be trying to get rid of some books (novels, paperbacks, non-fiction, etc.). If interested please contact Eleanor Harrison or myself and we will make some arrangements.
We received our first vaccination on March 19 and it’s so comforting to know that this stage is well underway now and maybe in another month one will be able to move about so much easier while feeling safer in doing so.
It is now officially spring, and it is so nice to be able to feel the much welcomed warmth that comes with this season. Before one realizes it we’ll be seeing the green grass, trees leafing out, pussy willows and wild flowers coming to life. Birds are arriving again and newborn calves are so nice to see out in the pastures as they romp about. Actually in another week it will be Easter – another sure sign that it is spring. Hopefully we will also receive some much need rain to help wash the last of the winter away and bring on more new spring life.
It is very dry, so please be careful when you are out cleaning up the yard, fields etc. Don’t burn if it’s not necessary.
