In the early hours of November 11, 2016, Vance Clayton Molder lost his courageous battle against cancer at the age of 82 years. He died peacefully in the palliative care unit in Weyburn.

In the early hours of November 11, 2016, Vance Clayton Molder lost his courageous battle against cancer at the age of 82 years. He died peacefully in the palliative care unit in Weyburn. He was a special dad and grandad to his family and will be sorely missed by all. Vance was predeceased by his parents; William and Sarah Molder. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Kay Molder of Weyburn; four children; Jeff (Nancy) Molder of Weyburn, Shanna (Derek) Hunka of Calgary, AB, Cameron (Karyn) Molder of Revelstoke, BC, Darren (Marina) Molder of Sechelt, BC; ten grandchildren, Joel and Zoe Molder, Nolan, Braden, Connell and Damon Hunka, Bryce and Colm Molder and Vesna and Katie Molder; brother, Kirk (Gwen) Molder; sister, Cathy (Warren) Benn as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins,  relatives and friends. Honourary Pallbearers were the Rotary Members. A Celebration of Vance’s Life was held Saturday, November 19, from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Weyburn. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Vance may be made to Stars Foundation at Hanger 21, 2475 Airport Rd., Saskatoon, SK S7L 9Z9.
