WEYBURN - The Weyburn Humane Society received a boost on Thursday from Fido's Doggy Day Care in Weyburn.
CindyAnn Boehm presented two cheques totalling $900, plus a number of pet food items, donated over the Christmas season to the Humane Society's animal shelter.
The first cheque, for $700, included $350 raised from the Santa Paws photos, where Santa came to the doggy day care for photos with the furry friends at Fido's, plus a matching donation from Fido's.
The second cheque, for $200, came from an anonymous donor who has their four-legged friends at Fido's.
In addition to the monies, several dog food items were collected, and were handed over to Humane Society president Randy Bakaluk.
