WEYBURN - Groups, organizations and businesses from Weyburn and area lined up to take colourful brightly-lit floats in the Weyburn Chamber of Commerce's Parade of Lights, held on a chilly Thursday night in Weyburn.
They started off from the fair grounds, went up Prairie Avenue to Third Street, and proceeded throuigh the downtown area, went over on Railway Avenue and north on Second Street to Bison Avenue where the parade dispersed.
In spite of a temperature in the mid -20s, many of the floats had people on board, bundled up against the chilly air.
A number of locations downtown offered hot chocolate to parade watchers, including at City Hall and at the CUPE union location downtown.
