ASSINIBOIA — Election exhaustion was the term used by those disappointed with voter turnouts in civic elections across the province. The term referred to people feeling burned out with news up to and including a provincial election Oct. 28, the U.S. election Nov. 5 and civic elections Nov. 13. Voter apathy was also touted as an attributing reason to some of the community’s lower voter turnouts.
