SWIFT CURRENT AREA - RCMP are investigating a fatal rollover in the Swift Current area.
On April 4 at approximately 5:35 p.m., Swift Current Rural RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 1, west of Swift Current.
Officers responded along with local fire and EMS. An adult female passenger of the vehicle was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. She has been identified as a 61-year-old female from Redcliff, Alta. Her family has been notified.
The driver and a second passenger were taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature. The second passenger later died in hospital. He has been identified as a 68-year-male from Redcliff, Alta. His family has been notified.
Swift Current Rural RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
