Arrest made for attempted murder in Regina

Police arrested and charged a 34-year-old man with two counts of attempted murder, and one count of assault causing bodily harm.

REGINA - Police have made an arrest and have laid charges in connection to a bizarre incident at a yard sale in Regina.

On June 20, police were called out to 4100 Block of 17th Avenue in Regina before noon. Three people had been assaulted, two were attacked with a knife. When police arrived the attacker was gone.

Tuesday, police arrested and charged a 34-year-old man with two counts of attempted murder, and one count of assault causing bodily harm.

Vandel Chad Friday made an initial court appearance in Regina Wednesday.
