REGINA - While it's under a snowfall warning, the streets and sidewalks of Regina are slippery.
The City of Regina has posted a message on its Facebook page urging people to take advantage of free sand and salt mix to help keep sidewalks and walkways safe.
There are 19 sandboxes throughout the city for residents to pick up the mix. There's a link you can use to find the nearest one.
The city says crews monitor and fill the sandboxes after they attend to ice control activities on the priority road network. Should your community sandbox be empty, says the city, please send a Service Request online or call 306-777-7000
