EMERALD PARK - According to a Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory, at around 11:50 a.m. Jan 27, conservation officers responded to reports of a dog running loose in the community of Emerald Park and actively attacking and severely injuring a deer.
Officers responded and located a severely injured deer that officers ultimately had to euthanize.
Prior to officers arriving, the dog was scared off by a member of the public. Two individuals were later observed picking up the dog which was described as a German shepherd with the possible name "Teddy". Officers are looking to determine the owners of the dog.
