Man facing charges following dog attack in Regina

As a result of this investigation, a 47-year-old man, of Regina is charged with: criminal negligence causing bodily harm.

REGINA - Police have laid charges after a dog attacked a person in August in Regina.

On Aug. 19 at approximately 9 a.m., police were dispatched to the area of 3 Avenue and Cameron Street to investigate a dog attack. Information received was that an adult female was walking her dogs when she was chased by two other dogs and attacked. As a result, the victim suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Through investigation, police were able to locate the owner of the dogs, which were seized as a result of the incident.

As a result of this investigation, a 47-year-old man, of Regina is charged with: criminal negligence causing bodily harm.

The accused will make their first appearance on this charge in Provincial Court on Jan. 3, 2025 at 9:30 a.m.
