For the second straight game, the Flin Flon Bombers staved off elimination in their SJHL Semi-Final series.
Keefe Gruener led the way offensively with two goals, one assist for the Bombers, who also got markers from Liam Hunks, Anthony Piccininno, Rhett Ewen and Koen Senft.
Matthew Kieper made 24 saves on 25 shots for the Bombers, while Angelo Zol started for the Red Wings and was pulled after allowing three goals on seven shots. Ty Matanovich stopped 29 of 32 shots in relief.
Liam Fitzgerald scored the lone goal for the Red Wings.
Game 6 will be back in Weyburn on Monday night at 7:00 PM.
