March was a busy month for Sasha Krakowka. She collected multiple medals across three events and set a new Canadian record to earn Athlete of the Month honours.
At the Canadian Junior National Championships in Saskatoon, Krakowka earned three gold medals in three 10-metre air rifle events and set a new Canadian junior women’s record.
Earlier in the month, at the First Americas Junior Shooting Championship, Krakowka earned two silver medals and a spot for Canada at the Junior Pan American Games. Following that performance, Krakowka defended her title for the fifth straight year at the provincial championships.
The Saskatchewan Target Shooting Association nominated Krakowka.
