As part of Saskatchewan Library Week, the Invermay Public Library hosted an afternoon with author Gary Howe of Wadena on Oct. 19, who was welcomed by Leanne Simpson, librarian. He brought his book, Waiting for the Train, to share with those in attendance. Howe’s presentation included sharing stories about his book and writing, as well as a question-and-answer session. He autographed copies of the book and socialized with the guests, Library board members Mike Kaminski, Darlene Graham, Sarah Mckenzie and Irene Brezinski helped the librarian, Leanne Simpson, organize the Library Week event.
