‘Outstanding support’ for successful Invermay Ladies Night Out

Funds raised at this event will go towards upgrades to the Fair Grounds power grid and the construction of the new beer gardens pole shed for the Invermay Fair in August.

INVERMAY- This was the first Ladies Night Out hosted by the Invermay Agricultural Society and we hope to make this an annual event.

It was held at the Invermay Community Hall on Nov. 23, with entertainment for the evening provided by Saddles and Steel’s Family Feud out of Yorkton. The theme of the night was “Game Shows” and the ladies definitely hit the mark when it came to dressing for the occasion.

The night started with cocktails and bucket draw games that included Wheel of Fortune, Plinko, Price is Right and Deal or No Deal. Alex Prince and crew out of Wadena catered a delicious meal for the 167 ladies in attendance.

The support from our local communities and from afar was outstanding. The positive feedback and seeing how everyone enjoyed the event sure made all the preparations and work well worth it.

The idea to put on this type of event has been in the works for a while and we are sure glad we went through with it. The committee of ladies that helped make this event possible are a great bunch to work with, all of which lend a hand to almost every event in the community and it doesn’t go unnoticed. I would like to thank all the sponsors and bucket draw item donors, as well as our MC, and all the guys that bartended/waited the tables for the ladies.

Funds raised at this event will go towards upgrades to the Fair Grounds power grid and the construction of the new beer gardens pole shed for our Annual Invermay Fair in August.
