TOGO — The community of Togo celebrated an evening of glamour and camaraderie on June 8 with a highly anticipated Ladies’ Night. The event, which featured a tradeshow, cocktail hour, supper, and a fashion show, drew an impressive turnout of local women eager to enjoy a night out.

Amanda Burback, one of the event’s organizers, shared her excitement with The Kamsack Times.

“It went absolutely wonderful. We were worried a little bit about scheduling conflicts, but we had a fantastic turnout of ladies that came tonight. And our vendors upstairs are some of the best,” Burback said.

The fashion show, sponsored by Crave Style from Roblin, Man., was a highlight of the evening, showcasing stylish and contemporary designs that delighted the audience.

Beyond providing a fun night out, Ladies’ Night also served a greater purpose. “When we raise money in Togo, we always turn the money back into the community,” Burback explained. “So we’re working right now on finishing the rink roof. And yeah, we just want to keep putting the money back into the place where we live.”
