CANORA - Police are investigating a collision involving a pedestrian in Canora.
On July 14, 2024, at approximately 6:20 p.m., Canora RCMP received a report of a collision involving a pedestrian on 2 Avenue East.
Officers responded, along with local EMS, and located an injured adult male. The male was transported to hospital by EMS with injuries described as serious, but non-life-threatening, in nature.
As a result of the investigation, officers determined an altercation occurred between two males, one on a bike and one in an SUV. During the altercation, the male on the bike was struck by the white SUV and injured. The male driving the SUV left the scene.
Investigators determined the SUV to be a white 2015-2019 Nissan Rouge with a sunroof and roof rack. Photos of the white SUV and the driver are shown.
As a result of continued investigation, investigators would like to speak to the driver of a white GMC or Chevrolet truck that was parked on 2 Avenue East on July 14, 2024, who may have witnessed the incident.
