A well-known Canora landmark at the corner of Railway Avenue and Norway Road was demolished on July 6 by Ken Wyonzek of Wyonzek Brothers Construction. The building was constructed in the 1950s and originally housed Norway Motors, owned by Walter and Nick Stasiuk. It was a Versatile tractor and Ford car and truck dealership, which also sold Fordson tractors. The building was sold in 1986, and eventually had a number of different owners over the years.
