KAMSACK — Rural residents in the Kamsack district – and across the province – voted for their rural municipality reeves and councillors in odd-numbered divisions.
The elections were held Nov. 13.
RM of Calder
Donald Soloninko was voted in as reeve with 198 votes. Incumbent Roy Derworiz received 118.
Returning as Division 1 councillor is Trevor Baumung, who received 50 votes. Lawrence Scraba received 11.
Keith Strutynski is returning as Division 5 councillor with 60 votes. Marty Derbowka and Zac Petruk each received 20 votes.
James Fredrick Williams was acclaimed in Division 3.
RM of Cote
Ralph Hilderman was elected as reeve, receiving 246 votes. Wendy Becenko received 51.
Division 1 saw Amanda Burback returned as councillor with 46 votes. Wayne Airriess received 18.
Murry Hunter won the Division 3 councillor spot with 35 votes. Incumbent Craig Salahub received 26.
In Division 5, Tanner Chutskoff was elected with 42 votes. Brad Anderson received 20.
Dale Nelson won the Division 2 byelection, receiving 27 votes. Crystal Leis received 12 votes and Trevor Chernoff, 9
Christopher Schwartz was acclaimed in the Division 4 byelection.
RM of Keys
There were no elections in the RM of Keys.
Calvin Statchuk was acclaimed reeve, Mark Hofer was acclaimed councillor for Division 1, Ken Kalmakoff for Division 3 and Jordan Lindgren for Division 5.
RM of Livingston
Rick Ball is reeve after receiving 146 votes. Kevin Lewis received 44.
In Division 2, Neil Abrahamson was elected councillor with 55 votes. Kenneth Frampton received 17.
Rick Nahnybida was acclaimed as Division 1 councillor and Ken Severson as Division 3 councillor.
RM of St. Philips
Derrick Robson was the winner of the reeve seat, receiving 70 votes. Ronda Lasko received 32 votes and Maxwell Crawford, 27.
Brian Federation was acclaimed as Division 3 councillor and Bernard Mosiuk as Division 5 councillor.
