It's not just about using car seats, but installing them right

Two dedicated car seat technicians are committed to making sure that families have the knowledge and resources necessary to keep their children safe on the road.

KAMSACK — Two dedicated car seat technicians, Kim Gelowitz and Megan Holodniuk, are on a mission to ensure the safety of children by educating families about proper car seat installation and use.

"We're here to support families in the car seat installation process," said Gelowitz. "Megan and myself are both car seat technicians, and our goal is to provide car seat education to families. If anyone wants their car seat checked, we're here to help."

Holodniuk emphasized the importance of accessibility, noting that they can provide car seats to families in need. "If families are in need of car seats, we can provide one," she said.

"It's $25 for a car seat with mobile early learning," Gelowitz explained. "An application would need to come through me. Megan and I will then help install the car seat and educate them on how it should be installed. If they need to change it to a different vehicle, we'll ensure they're equipped to do that."

Gelowitz and Holodniuk are committed to making sure that families have the knowledge and resources necessary to keep their children safe on the road. Through their efforts, they aim to increase awareness about the importance of proper car seat use and to provide the support needed for families to implement these practices effectively.
