ROSETOWN - On Dec. 22, at approximately 6:40 p.m., Rosetown RCMP received a report of a collision on Highway 15 near Sovereign.
Investigation determined a semi and an SUV collided. The driver of the SUV, a 21-year-old man from Milden was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. His family has been notified. The driver of the semi did not report injuries.
Highway 15 was closed for approximately six hours for investigation. Investigation continues with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
Diesel from the semi spilled onto the road and motorists are asked to drive with caution in the area, as the road may still be slippery.
