SASKATOON - Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Drug Unit have concluded an eight-week investigation into the drug trafficking activities of three Saskatoon men resulting in a substantial seizure of product.
On Jan. 9, the SPS Drug and Tactical Support Units executed search warrants on properties located in the 1900 block of 7th Street East, 900 block of Pringle Crescent, and 700 block of Hart Road.
Police seized 20,285 grams of methamphetamine packaged in one- and two-kilogram quantities, 8,040 grams of cannabis packaged in half-kilogram quantities, more than 700 oxycodone pills, 1,038 grams of buffing agent, $12,940 cash, modified fully automatic prohibited Glock 9mm handgun with extended magazine, multiple mobile phones, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
As a result of investigation, three men, age 25, 26, and 36, are collectively facing a combination of charges, including trafficking in Methamphetamine, Possession for the purpose of trafficking in Methamphetamine, Oxycodone, and Cannabis, possession of the proceeds of crime over/under $5,000, and several firearms-related charges.
