Woman turns herself in for hit and run

Chasity Erin Kyplain, now age 38, is charged with failing to remain at the scene of a collision which resulted in the death of a person.

SASKATOON — A woman police have been seeking after a hit and run more than a year ago has turned herself in.

Saskatoon Police Service says the woman believed to be the driver of a vehicle involved in a fatal collision in May of 2021 self-attended to the Edmonton Police Service Aug. 22 to turn herself in.

Chasity Erin Kyplain, now age 38, is charged with failing to remain at the scene of a collision which resulted in the death of a person; the collision occurred on May 10, 2021 in the 3200-block 33rd Street West and killed a 33-year-old woman.

Kyplain was to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court Aug, 23.
