After three contests this week the Yorkton RawTec Maulers sit with a record of 18-17-2-3 and 41 points, and seventh in the Saskatchewan AAA Midget Hockey League three points back of the Saskatoon Contacts in sixth.

The Notre Dame Hounds lead the league with 77 points, followed by Regina, Prince Albert, Tisdale, and Swift Current.

On Saturday the Maulers met the Battleford Stars. Zach McIntyre gave Yorkton the lead in the first period with a powerplay goal, but Adam Beckman would respond for the Stars to send the game to the dressing room through 20-minutes tied 1-1.

Joel Schmuland took the loss in the Yorkton net facing 30-shots. Joseph Young recorded the win facing 44-shots for the Stars.

Dycer would add the lone goal of the third with a powerplay marker with 3:23 remaining to round out a 3-1 Yorkton win.

Jordan Schmuland earned the win in the Yorkton net facing 32-shots, while Carter Serhyenko was tagged with the loss for the Stars facing 36-shots.
