Parkland U18 AAA Expos drop pair at home Saturday

YORKTON - The Parkland U18 AAA Expos played a home-opener doubleheader Saturday.

In game one the Expos played a close contest at Jubilee Park against visiting Saskatoon, dropping a 1-0 decision to the Cubs.

Jackson Bradford started and took the loss on the mound for the Expos, but recording 18 outs.

Things did not go better in the second game in the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League doubleheader with Yorkton plating a single run while giving up eight.

Cohen Murray went 4.2 innings allowing two runs on four hits and being tagged with the loss for the Expos.

The Expos head to Regina Tuesday to play the Athletics, then host the Regina White Sox Wednesday.

The Expos then play a nighttime doubleheader in Regina Monday, June 3, against White Sox.
