In other sports, Saskatchewan also earned two gold medals in athletics, which came from Regina’s Alexander Eiswirth in the male 1500m and Saskatoon’s Julie Labach in the female 800m.

Joe Gerlinsky of Saskatoon tacked on a gold medal for Saskatchewan for sailing in the 2.4m para mix event.

The Saskatchewan men’s softball team earned a silver medal after losing 4-1 to Ontario in the final. Yorkton Terriers’ forward Jordan Hudson, from Saskatoon, was part of that team.
