Day trip sees Ruttle brothers in dino country

Saskatchewan's answer to Drumheller is a treat for the dinosaur lover in your family.

EASTEND - Taking the day to embark on a road trip, this reporter and his brother Brendon decided to venture down to the village of Eastend, which is the home of Scotty, a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton that was discovered and unearthed in the area in the mid-1990's. Essentially Saskatchewan's answer to the town of Drumheller next door in Alberta, the quaint community of Eastend is surrounded by hills and nestled in some very picturesque territory. If you find yourself to be a fellow dinosaur enthusiast, then the T.Rex Discovery Centre located just outside the village is right up your alley.
