LANGENBURG - We were able to make a $1,000 donation in Langenburg for the first time with the GX94 Christmas Goodies cookbook! The money went to the Langenburg Christmas Hampers. Olivia Shearer met with Organizer Kay Klopstock to present the cheque.
A big thank you goes to Langenburg Ford Motors for their sponsorship of the cookbook this year. We were at their dealership at the beginning of October selling the GX94 Christmas Goodies cookbooks. GX94 listeners stopped by to get their copy. I got to meet one listener who reminded me of our history together. She had sent in a recipe to me years ago, along with a can of real Maple Syrup from Quebec! I finally got to put a face to the very nice gift.
Another listener from Regina was on her way to Manitoba, but made a detour to stop by the dealership. She said she has been collecting the cookbooks from the very beginning and this would be her only chance to get this year’s. As always, I’m humbled and so thankful for your support of the GX94 Christmas Goodies cookbook!
