Man pleads guilty to leading Mounties on two high-speed chases

PUNNICHY - Guilty pleas have been entered by a Punnichy man, arrested for flight from police.

Last October, Mounties received a report of a vehicle theft in Punnichy.

They located the vehicle and tried to stop it, but the driver got away.

That same night, police received a report of a vehicle theft on the George Gordon First Nation.

The stolen vehicle was located the next morning, and after another chase, the driver was arrested.

Michael McNab, 39, admitted his guilt Oct. 22 in Punnichy Court. He’s scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 29 in Wynyard.
