YORKTON - The Yorkton Venom Volleyball Club (YVVC) Tournament was held on the weekend.
The event saw 10 teams take part in the 16U tournament at the Gallagher Centre Flexihall.
In the end the host Venom played in the gold final and defeated the Wheatland Attack (Kipling Area) in two sets.
Overall the Venom played seven matches Saturday, only losing one out of the 15 sets that they played throughout the day.
This past Saturday was Venom’s first Tournament this season.
The team is also scheduled to travel to competitions in Saskatoon, Regina, Brandon, Wadena, and team will be going to Nationals in Edmonton.

The 15U Venom also competed in the tournament. They finished second in the round robin and advanced to the quarter finals against Swan Valley Smash.
