Alleged drunk driver smashes seven vehicles in Regina

No injuries were reported from the collisions.

REGINA – An Ontario man is facing a charge of impaired operation of a conveyance after colliding with several parked vehicles. Police were dispatched to the scene around 3:40 p.m. on Nov. 8, where they arrested the driver of a semi.

"Preliminary investigation indicates a semi truck travelling south-bound on Park Street at 17th Avenue E. collided with seven parked vehicles," RPS said in a media release. "There were no injuries reported."

After being arrested at the scene and the truck he was driving impounded, Hardip Singh, 38, of Mississauga, Ont. was charged with Impaired Operation of a Conveyance by Alcohol or Drug or Combination, contrary to section 320.14(1)(a) CC. He was released on an undertaking, with a court appearance slated for later this month.
