REGINA – A brazen robbery on a Good Samaritan sent a man to hospital with stab wounds in Regina.
The Regina Police Service was called to a convenience store on 5th Avenue where the man had been assaulted with a bladed weapon and robbed during the morning of Nov. 3.
"Police learned that the victim had been driving by and witnessed a male lying on the ground," RPS said in a media release. "He got out of his vehicle to assist the prone male, when another male arrived, demanded his belongings, and stabbed him."
Emergency crews attended to the victim, who was transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The assailant is described as a male with a shaved head, wearing a red sweatshirt and white pants. His accomplice is about 5'10" tall with shoulder-lentgh dark hair and was wearing a black toque, black hoodie and black pants.
