Update: Cut Knife RCMP locate missing children

CUT KNIFE - Update: RCMP say the two missing children they were looking for have been located and are safe.

Original post: Cut Knife RCMP asks the public to report information on the whereabouts of two missing children, 13-year-old Taliyah Kakum and 5-year-old Jessie Green.

Taliyah is a girl and has a slim build, with brown eyes and black hair. Jessie is a boy and has brown eyes and long, black hair. 

The children have connections to the Little Pine First Nation, Pound Maker First Nation and Battleford areas, but their current whereabouts are unknown.

Taliyah and Jessie were reported missing at approximately 6 p.m. on March 15 and police have been searching for them since, checking with people they have connections to and residences where they are known to visit.

Cut Knife RCMP are now asking the public to report all information on Taliyah and Jessie’s whereabouts.
