MAPLE CREEK – A recent robbery in a Maple Creek home has police searching for one man.
The robbery happened on Aug. 25, and Maple Creek RCMP were called to the scene at around 7:40 p.m.
"Initial investigation determined that three males - one of which was armed with a firearm - entered a residence, threatened the occupant, stole a bicycle and fled the residence," said RCMP in a media release. "The occupant of the residence did not report physical injuries to police."
Virgil Mosquito, 38, is charged with robbery with a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possessing a weapon contrary to an order, and resist arrest.
"A warrant has been issued for Virgil Mosquito’s arrest and Maple Creek RCMP are working to locate him," RCMP said.
Mosquito is described as being about 5'8" tall and weighing 165 lbs. He has brown eyes and black hair with a tattoo below his left eye. Police believe he may be in the Maple Creek area, but his current whereabouts are unknown.
A male youth was also charged with a single count robbery with a firearm, and is also the subject of an arrest warrant.
