Melfort RCMP searching for suspects in armed home invasion

A male and a female, both armed with firearms, entered a residence, threatened the occupants and stole items including jewelry and car keys.

The male suspect is described as approximately six feet with a heavy build. He has some facial tattoos. The female is approximately 5-foot-5 with a medium to heavy build. Both were wearing face coverings at the time of the incident.

MELFORT – RCMP are asking the public’s help identifying suspects in an armed robbery at a home on Stovel Avenue East at about 5 a.m. on June 13 in Melfort.

The police investigation determined that a male and a female, both armed with firearms, entered a residence, threatened the occupants and stole items including jewelry and car keys. They then fled in a vehicle stolen from outside the residence. The occupants of the residence didn’t report physical injuries to police.

Melfort RCMP have been investigating since and are now asking the public to report all information about this incident.

The male suspect is described as approximately six feet with a heavy build. He has some facial tattoos. The female is approximately 5-foot-5 with a medium to heavy build. Both were wearing face coverings at the time of the incident.

They were initially travelling in a 2001 dark red Buick Lesabre, which has since been recovered by police in Melfort.
