Police make third arrest in murder of Jason Horse in Saskatoon

Jason Horse, 48, was shot in a home in Saskatoon in February. He died in hospital.

SASKATOON – Police have charged a 36-year-old man with first-degree murder in the death of 48-year-old Jason Horse. He made his first appearance in Saskatoon court Monday afternoon.

Two other men, Tyrone Nepoose, 37, and Robin Stone, 34, have also been charged with first-degree murder. They are back in court April 18.

Nepoose was arrested by Saskatoon RCMP WEST in North Battleford on April 3. Stone was arrested by Saskatoon Police Service in Saskatoon on April 4.

Horse grew up on Thunderchild First Nation and lived in Saskatoon for the past 20 years, according to his obituary.

Horse died in hospital after being shot in a home on the 200 block of Avenue I South on Feb. 17.

Police say the victim and suspect were known to each other.
