Six arrested by Saskatoon Police Gang Unit appear in court

SASKATOON – Six people arrested by Saskatoon Police Service’s Guns and Gangs Unit make their first appearance in Saskatoon court Friday.

Kaile Nokohoot, Sage Paddy, Devon Payne, Taylor Pitt, Danielle Bird, and Jeffrey Harrison-Baldhead were charged with drug trafficking, weapons and proceeds of crime offences following a one-month investigation.

On Feb. 22, police arrested the six accused after raiding two homes and conducting a high-risk vehicle stop on a vehicle associated with one of the residences.

In their search, officers seized of 361.24 grams of crystal meth, $1,710 cash, a sawed-off .22 calibre rifle, ammunition, a tactical vest, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
