NORTH BATTLEFORD – A 25-year-old Unity man accused of making death threats is headed to trial.
Patrick Schapansky's trial is scheduled for June 15. He was charged with two counts of uttering death threats, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose [knife], criminal harassment, and mischief under $5,000 by interfering with the lawful enjoyment of property.
He was arrested by Unity RCMP and Cut Knife RCMP after RCMP received multiple 911 calls on Sept. 3, 2022, about a man threatening people at a home in Unity and then going to homes of people he knew while police were searching for him.
