Robert Young was facing charges of second-degree murder in the death of Jason Chartier in 2018 in Buffalo Narrows.

As one of the adult females was being lodged in Prince Albert RCMP cells, she bit one of the police officers, causing minor injury.

On Jan. 22, shortly after 7 p.m., Battlefords RCMP received a report of an attempted robbery on the 1300 block of 101 Street.

On Jan. 22, the Canora/Sturgis RCMP investigated a break and enter to the Preeceville Hockey Arena. Money was stolen.

Shortly before 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 5, police were called to a parking lot in the 400 block of 22nd Street West for a report of an in-progress break and enter to a vehicle.
