CRAVEN — Country Thunder Saskatchewan announces American superstar Luke Combs as the headline act for next year’s festival in Craven.
“We are beyond thrilled to deliver the world’s biggest country music superstar to the world’s greatest fans, right here,” said Country Thunder CEO, Troy Vollhoffer in a news release.
Combs’ hits include Fast Car, Beautiful Crazy, When it Rains it Pours, The Kind of Love We Make, Hurricane, and Going, Going, Gone. He’s reigning two time Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year.
It will be Combs' first time playing the festival. He was set to play in 2020 when the festival paused for the pandemic.
The festival made the announcement Saturday night by playing a video to the crowd after Jess Moskaluke’s performance.
Brett Kissel’s followed and honoured 15 Wing Royal Canadian Air Force Snowbird pilots and aircrew during his set.
Tim McGraw closed out the night to a full house.
Fans at Craven get first dibs on 2024 Country Thunder tickets. Those on-site at the festival can use the renewal booth at the end of Main Street, says organizers.
Patrons who purchased a ticket for this year’s event can also log into the AXS fan account online and purchase for next year.
Tickets go on sale to the general to public Aug. 3.
