RCMP investigating Christmas Eve shooting in Nipawin

An adult male was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.

Nipawin RCMP are investigating with the assistance of the Prince Albert and Saskatoon General Investigation Sections.

NIPAWIN — Nipawin RCMP are asking the public to provide any information they may have about a shooting that happened on the afternoon of Christmas Eve.

On Dec. 24 at approximately 3:43 p.m., Nipawin RCMP received a report of a male suffering from a gunshot wound on 1st Ave West in Nipawin.

Officers immediately responded. An adult male was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.

Nipawin RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of the Prince Albert and Saskatoon General Investigation Sections. Anyone with information should contact Nipawin RCMP at 306-862-6270.
