Stolen trailer from Saskatoon area recovered by Wilkie RCMP

Unity RCMP attended two calls of unwanted individuals at businesses.

Cut Knife RCMP received 36 calls for service between Jan. 20 to 26. These files included assaults, mischiefs, mental health calls, wellbeing checks, missing persons, reports of disturbances, reports of traffic offenses, assisting with medical emergencies, and responding to alarm calls.

Notable files include:

On Jan. 24 members received a call of two missing youth. They were located within a few hours of being reported missing by police.

In the early hours of Jan. 25, members responded to a call regarding a bank being broken into in Neilburg. Money was stolen from an ATM. This matter is still under investigation.

On Jan. 22, members responded to an assault on Poundmaker Cree Nation. A male had fled the scene before police arrival but is charged and a warrant for arrest is being sought.

Members responded to a call regarding a dog bite on Poundmaker Cree Nation. The owner of the dog was spoken to and warned about having the dog not on a leash or fenced.

Members recovered a stolen truck down an un-maintained road allowance, a black 2006 Dodge Ram, that was reported stolen in December 2024.

Members had eight traffic stops resulting in warnings and tickets issued. Members responded to two false alarms.

RCMP Report – Jan. 21 - 27

Unity Report

RCMP received a complaint of an unwanted individual at a business. Members attended and transported the subject of complaint to a public area to wait for transportation.

Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

Members issued a 72-hour roadside suspension during a traffic stop.

RCMP conducted a well-being check at the request of a family friend.

Members received a request from Emergency Medical Services to assist with a patient.

Police received a complaint of an unwanted individual at a business. Members attended and transported the subject of complaint to a local hotel.

A 26-year-old female with no fixed address was charged with failure to comply with release order condition after members received a report of a suspicious vehicle in Denzil. A 30-day roadside suspension was also issued.

RCMP spoke to an individual regarding a property dispute.

There was also one false 911 call.

Wilkie Report

RCMP received a request from Emergency Medical Services to assist with a patient.

A 63-year-old male from Wilkie was charged with assault, uttering threats, and resist peace officer after members received a complaint of assault.

Police received a complaint of fraud but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

RCMP recovered a trailer that had been stolen from the Saskatoon area. This matter is still under investigation.

Members received a report of an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was moved by the registered owner.

Police received a report of an individual walking on the highway. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.

RCMP received a complaint of disturbing the peace but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

Police received a complaint of an intoxicated individual at a residence. Members transported the subject of complaint to cells to be lodged until sober. No charges were laid.

Members spoke to an individual regarding a dispute between two adults.

Macklin Report

RCMP received a report of a vehicle collision with a deer. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.

Members are investigating a complaint of harassing communications.

Police received a complaint of a vehicle colliding with a residence. There were no injuries. A traffic ticket and a roadside suspension were issued to the vehicle driver.

A 20-year-old male from Macklin was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and flight from a peace officer after members initiated a traffic stop. Two traffic tickets were also issued to the vehicle driver.

RCMP received a report of a break-and-enter at a residence in Evesham but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

A 34-year-old male from Macklin was charged with possession of property obtained by crime and fail to comply with release order condition after members received a complaint of a break and enter at a residence.

Members conducted a well-being check at the request of a family member.
