RCMP investigate fatal collision involving pedestrian

WAKAW - A pedestrian was killed in a vehicle collision near Wakaw.  

On Oct. 20 at approximately 5 p.m., Wakaw RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Highway 2, 10 kilometres south of Wakaw.

Officers responded immediately, along with local EMS. The pedestrian was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as a 41-year-old man from Domremy. His family has been notified.

The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision remained at the scene. No other injuries were reported to police.

Wakaw RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
