HUMBOLDT – The Humboldt and District Museum is hosting a floral embroidery workshop on Saturday, March 8.

Bernice Keller will teach the basics of the satin stitch, lazy daisy, woven wheel and a French knot.

Residents are welcome to attend and learn the basics of floral embroidery in a fun and casual environment and participants can take home everything you need to finish your project.

There is a registration fee of $15 per person and all the supplies are included. The workshop is  1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 8.

Then for crafters who have projects on the go, the Humboldt Gallery is hosting a special UFO (unfinished objects) night. You won’t be casting your eyes skyward looking for anomalies. This is the gallery’s first ever UFO Night.

Crafters can get together to finish up any projects that they have started and haven’t quite finished. This can include knitting, crochet, painting, writing, or any other craft that is easy to pack up and bring to the gallery.

This event is free and everyone is welcome. Please note that the gallery will not be providing supplies for the evening, so make sure you have everything you need before you come.
