A week of Vacation Bible School was held at the Maidstone Baptist Church from Aug. 8 to 12. Classes where from 9:30 to 11:30a.m. each day for the 30 children who attended.
Members of the church were assisted by two students from Saskatoon. The theme this year was Secrets of God's Kingdom. The children enjoyed an electronic quiz conducted by students from Saskatoon.
To round out the week Friday the children entertained their parents and grandparents followed by hot dogs and goodies for all. Those involved found it an interesting, spiritual and educational success.
From the offering over $200 was raised to be sent to help victims of the Slave Lake disaster.
