The second Annual Battle Inn The Fords turned out great, with five local bands rocking out to three judges and a loud crowd of supporters. The bands that participated were Keara Monument, Palm Tree Pilots, Chevrotains, Six Blocks, and Mister Fire.

Each band played a three song set, they were judged and the top three were chosen. It came down to Keara Monument with Brandon Sikorsky on vocals, Aaron Patton on bass, Brent Nixon on guitar, Josh Markewich on guitar and Alex Bent on drums; Mister Fire with Ben Fortosky on vocals, Cameron Baribeau on keys, Jordan Welbourne on lead guitar, Emmett Fortosky on bass and Alex Bent on drums; and Six Blocks with Tyler Johnston on lead guitar, Chad Meier on rhythm guitar, Tal Esau on bass and Cody Stretch on drums.

The crowd's cheer level was the deciding factor on which band would win $1,000 and the opportunity to play at Bridgefest. Mister Fire won $500 for third place and $750 went to Keara Monument for second place but Six Blocks, a band from Meadow Lake that has only been playing together for one year, had the most energy, best performance and loudest support from the crowd so they won first place and played another set with an encore to end the Battle Inn the Fords.
