Battleford Remembrance Day Service sees 200 attend

Light snow showers were taking place when the Remembrance Day procession left the Legion on Battleford’s main street Sunday. Because of the wind and cold it was decided not to go to the Cenotaph after the service.

Light snow showers were taking place when the Remembrance Day procession left the Legion on Battleford’s main street Sunday. Because of the wind and cold it was decided not to go to the Cenotaph after the service.

There were approximately 200 in attendance, a little less than previous years, but the thought was that people were also at church services as the Remembrance Day service was on a Sunday.
