HUMBOLDT — Humboldt has added a new page listing wellness supports to its website, containing local and out of community resources for mental health, shelters, addictions and employment support services for residents to access.

“As we all know, the mayor has been lobbying the province for more services in these areas,” said Penny Lee, Humboldt’s communication manager.

“[This is] just to bring public awareness also to what kind of services are out there for everybody and to give somebody who’s in need a one-stop place they can go to in a confidential manner so they can look for the help they need.”

Lee said the resource page is intended to be a permanent addition to the website, which will be updated should new resources become available. To update the resources, Lee can be contacted through city hall at 306-682-2525.
