CO2 firearm used in Saskatoon robbery

A woman is facing charges relating to possession of a weapon, concealing a weapon, and robbery.

SASKATOON - A woman was arrested Saturday night relating to a robbery in Saskatoon.

On Oct. 5 at approximately 10 p.m., police were called to the 200 block of Avenue K South for a report of a robbery. Initial information stated the suspect had a firearm.

The suspects fled the scene before police arrival; however, officers spoke with a group of three people who explained they were robbed by an unknown person.

Upon further investigation, officers were able to locate and arrest the suspect nearby. The weapon used in the incident was determined to be a CO2 firearm.

As a result, an 18-year-old woman is facing charges relating to possession of a weapon, concealing a weapon, and robbery (x3).
