Man facing charges after being found with CO2 firearm

Police received a report of a male pointing a firearm at another male.

SASKATOON - A man was arrested Monday night in relation to a weapons complaint in Saskatoon.

At approximately 9:40 p.m. on Oct. 7, police were called to Pendygrasse Road and Clancy Drive for a report of a male pointing a firearm at another male.

Upon arrival, officers located a male matching the description of the suspect in this call; he was arrested without further incident. After searching him, police located a CO2 firearm.

As a result, a 24-year-old man is facing charges relating to possession of a firearm, possession of an imitation weapon, concealing a weapon, and pointing a firearm.
